Prizes

The contest offers $6,000 in cash prizes for original, unpublished works. Each entrant receives a one-year (four-issue) subscription to Grain Magazine. All contest winners will also have their winning piece published in a 2010 issue of the magazine.

4 prizes will be awarded in each category:

1st Prize: $1,250
2nd Prize: $750
1st runner Up: $500
2nd Runner Up: $500
